Privacy policy
This notice describes how personal data of visitors to https://www.tecnonota.it (the “Site”) is processed, under Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 as amended by Decree 101/2018.
Data controller
The data controller is Andrea Bissi, reachable at redazione@tecnonota.it.
What data we collect and why
Browsing data. The systems that run the Site collect, in the course of normal operation, some data whose transmission is implicit in using the Internet: IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited, time of the request. This data is used only to produce anonymous statistics and to check that the Site works correctly. Legal basis: the controller’s legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR).
Data you provide voluntarily. If you email us or subscribe to the newsletter, we process your address and the information you send us to answer your request or send you the newsletter. Legal basis: pre-contractual measures at your request (Art. 6.1.b) and consent (Art. 6.1.a) for the newsletter, which you can withdraw at any time through the link in every email.
Advertising. The Site hosts advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies and identifiers to show personalised ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. Personalisation happens only if you gave consent through the banner shown on your first visit; otherwise non-personalised ads are shown. You can change your choices at any time from the Cookie policy or from Google’s ad settings. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6.1.a).
Statistics. Where active, we use Google Analytics with IP anonymisation to understand which content is read most. Data is aggregated and does not identify you.
Recipients
Data may be processed by service providers acting as processors or independent controllers: the hosting provider (Cloudflare), Google Ireland Ltd. (AdSense, Analytics) and the newsletter provider. Some of these may transfer data outside the European Union on the basis of Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission or adequacy decisions.
Retention
Browsing data is kept for the time strictly necessary, normally no longer than 14 months. Data sent by email is kept for as long as needed to handle the request. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability, to object to processing and to withdraw consent at any time (Arts. 15-22 GDPR). To exercise them, write to redazione@tecnonota.it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority; the competent one for the controller is the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).
